Neighbourhood of Discovery Bay
Discovery Bay is the entrance to about two miles of canals
located in the centre of the island between Turtle Cove on the north and Discovery
Bay on the south. This limestone-based canal system has good quality water
with depths ranging from six feet at high tide to four feet at low tide.
This peaceful and
centrally located residential area
offers access to the ocean through its canal
system and homes are available at a reasonable price. Canal lots range from
$300,000 up when available. The higher price lots have elevation as well as
water frontage.

Because of its central location this area is convenient to anywhere on the
Island. There are no hotels or restaurants in this area, and there is a mix of
industry and homes. Homes here range in price from about $385,000 up to about
